2015 was an absolutely cracking year for Payapps (formerly Progressclaim.com) in terms of recognition by peers and industry experts. On Friday the 12th of August it was announced that we had won not one but TWO Australian Business Awards!
We were listed as winners in the categories: Australian Business Innovation and Australian Business Technology. The awards are a huge honour for us to receive and be recognised amongst the likes of companies such as: Telstra, Fitness First, Olympus and Commonwealth Bank.

What is Payapps?
Payapps was launched in January 2015 to combat the outdated and disjointed payment claims process in the construction industry that is largely paper based, manual and inefficient, leading to inaccuracies, disputes and strains on business relationships.
Progress claims are payment instalments paid incrementally throughout the life of a building project, once specific stages have been completed. On most building projects, there will be a number of contractors, sub-contractors and consultants on site, all working with different companies on different hours and different activities, but all required to bill their individual hours.
These claims need to be approved before an invoice can be processed and paid. The current claims process relies on differing manual systems that don’t talk to each other, making the process slow and disconnected, leading to problems including calculation errors, disputes and suspicion between parties. Progressclaim.com alleviates this problem by using the latest collaborative, cloud technology to process progress claims smarter, faster and more economically.
